WORLD OZONE DAY-SIGNIFICANCE
World Ozon day is celebrated all over the world on 16 September every year to spread awareness about the depletion of the OZONE layer and urge people to take necessary actions to preserve it.
OZONE day is celebrated on 16 of September every year since 1994.the OZONE layer is a protective layer present in the Earth's strosphere that absorbs most of the Sun's ultraviolet radiation that protects the Earth's atmosphere and makes it liveable for all living beings .
This year is the 35 year of celebrating world OZONE DAY
THE OZONE LAYER WAS DISCOVERED IN 1913 BY THE FRENCH PHYSICISTS CHARLES FABRY and HENRI BUISON.
